Cancellation, Refund & Date Change Policy

All Kakey Mae Cupcakery products are custom-made to order. We do not offer ready-made products. Please read this policy before placing your order or making a payment.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Full payment becomes non-refundable once order preparation begins.
Payments and non-refundable deposits
Fixed-price cupcake orders require full payment at checkout.
Custom cake orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your order. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your scheduled pickup or delivery.
Orders placed less than 7 days in advance require full payment at booking.
When order preparation begins
Once order preparation begins, full payment becomes non-refundable.
Preparation includes purchasing order-specific ingredients or supplies, creating custom decorations, and beginning production.
If you are unsure whether preparation has begun for your order, please ask our team.
Cancellations and refunds
The 50% deposit for custom cake orders is non-refundable.
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel, and include your order reference and scheduled date. For cancellation requests before preparation begins, contact us to review the cancellation notice terms for your order.
Refunds will not be issued for changes in personal plans, event cancellations, or failure to pick up an order.
If Kakey Mae Cupcakery cannot fulfill your order, a full refund will be issued.
Verified order errors or quality issues will be addressed appropriately, including refunds or replacements when warranted.
All policies are subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
Requesting a date change
Please contact us as soon as you need to request a different date. Include your order reference, original date, and preferred new date.
Date changes depend on availability and must be confirmed by Kakey Mae. Sending a request does not automatically change your order date.
The non-refundable deposit and order-preparation terms above still apply. Contact us to discuss what is possible for your specific order.

Review the details of your quote or invoice before making a payment. Contact us with any questions about your order, deposit, or requested date.
Submitting an order request or checking the policy acknowledgment does not itself take payment or confirm your date. Availability and payment arrangements are confirmed separately.
By submitting payment, customers acknowledge and agree to these terms, provided they were disclosed before purchase.
